Priscilla N. Gilbert, CFP®, President and Founder

President of CenterPoint, Priscilla enjoys working with individuals, families, and small businesses to plan ahead for the hoped-for, the known, and the unknown. Her passion for finance began early while at Boston College where she focused on the integration of the economy and society. During this time, she worked for an investment company to screen corporations for their environmental, social, and governance performance. Priscilla’s professional career began as an adviser at Merrill Lynch and developed as the Assistant Vice President for Development at Norwich University. Priscilla joined J. Cole Financial Advisers, Inc. in 2010. That collaboration proved a significant launching pad for founding CenterPoint Financial, Inc. in 2014.

Recognized as a leader in her community for her many skills, especially her financial acumen, she has served on many volunteer boards, including the East Montpelier School Board, the Old Meeting House’s Finance Committee, and the East Montpelier Recreation Board. In support of her passion for the environment and natural world, Priscilla now serves on the board of the Vermont River Conservancy. Priscilla’s commitment to improving our social fabric brought her to Downstreet Housing and Community Development where she serves as a Board member and member of the Finance Committee. Priscilla has an active family life as a wife and mother of two busy college students. In her free time, she loves to run, cross-country ski with her family, mountain bike, practice CrossFit, and dabble in art. As a financial adviser, Priscilla is passionate about helping her clients to discover and live their personal goals.
